Fred Tibbs was named after an eccentric pioneer who arrived from Britain in 1905. He purchased an island off the shore of Tofino and called it 'Dream Island' and as popular local folklore goes he was known to play his clarinet at the top of a lone Spruce Tree on his island.
Each Fred Tibbs suite has its own unique character, and all suites offer full kitchens, cozy propane fireplaces, full bathrooms and balconies with beautiful views. Adjacent to the building overlooking the harbour is a grassy area with stone picnic tables, perfect for tide watching and perhaps chatting with some of the locals. Tofino's adventure outfitters, tour guides, restaurants, galleries, food and gift shops are a few minutes stroll away.
Barnacle West is pet friendly and will sleep up to 6 guests.
