The now famous Eik tree was in danger of falling over and for a while it seemed it may be cut down, until a young French Canadian man climbed up to its protecting treetop boughs and would not leave until the tree was saved. Worldwide media became enchanted with the passion this young man had to save the Eik tree and money flowed in from around the world to save it. Now complete with a protective 'girdle' the Eik tree stands as the sacred guardian of Eik Landing. Each Eik Landing suite offers its own unique and individually designed style.
Eagle's Perch is an upscale accommodation that looks directly at Tofino’s old commercial sailing docks. There are very few views as diversified or interesting as this working harbour in the midst of a wilderness panorama. Awesome bald eagles hang out in the famous ‘Eik Tree’ nearby, while seaplanes, tugboats, whale watching launches and kayaks pass by in review.
After your refreshing outdoor day, you can snuggle deep under your Dania down duvet on the bed in the loft. Just before you slip off into the best sleep, look out the window for moon beams and falling stars. Make a wish….
