WhitewaterA three and a half minute walk from the south end of Chesterman Beach, this beautifully built cedar home is warm and welcoming.
Walking up the driveway you are greeted by a covered porch, just to watch the world go by or to catch the setting sun through the trees. Inside, the home boasts cedar beams in the living room and cedar trim in all the rooms, much of which has come from trees from the lot, as has some of the siding on the house. A well-equipped and spacious kitchen with full appliances greets the chef in waiting. Both the kitchen and the dining room overlook a large garden, which already features many interesting shrubs and trees. There are two patios in the back, one covered and one in the open, but screened for privacy by a large trellis covered with honeysuckle and vines. There is a propane BBQ, table and chairs for outdoor entertaining. The living room features a sofabed, TV/DVD/VCR and an electric fire that looks like the real thing but comes on with a switch. On the second level, there is a large master bedroom with walk-in closet and king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed. The bathroom features an extra deep and long bathtub/shower. Whitewater is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout. The home features the artwork of the owner Maggie White, a multi-award wining water media artist whose work is available in local art galleries. Whitewater will sleep up to 7 guests.
